Flashback to last month's Angler Classic Supporting West Michigan Construction Institute! 🎣 Together, we raised $16,826 for their mission: to build strong communities by preparing the next generation of construction professionals for lifelong careers. Thank you to all who came out!

As the following Planning Magazine article from the American Planning Association points out, while there isn't one solution to resolve the entire housing supply crisis, there are replicable actions that can be applied in most communities.
"Omaha, Nebraska, is an example of a place that's forging public-private partnerships and leveraging multiple layers of funding to both build and preserve affordable housing, according to a case study from the Housing Supply Accelerator Playbook."

"Affordable" for Whom?
The real question is: To whom will this housing truly be affordable? While this project, along with the recent Price Hill Will initiative, was undoubtedly launched in good faith, the unfortunate reality is that the housing still remains out of reach for many within the community it aims to serve.
Who are we really appealing to? Who are we truly helping? If these homes/apartments/lofts are beyond the financial means of the very individuals who need them the most, then how are we addressing the root of the problem?
As long as I've known her, Jodi has been consistent in her commitment to the rights and dignity of our neighbors who are housing insecure or homeless. She is an effective ally and advocate, as evidenced by the community partnerships created in pursuit of meaningful opportunities for all.
Huge respect for Jodi, her team and guests at Interfaith Sanctuary Homeless Shelter, and her generous, creative partners. It's our shared responsibility as a community to provide a lifeline and stability to neighbors, essential workers, veterans, and senior citizens displaced from housing.
I know I'll be exploring opportunities to support their efforts. When we invest in people and our shared need for stability, safety, and opportunity, everyone can sleep better.
Since starting a statewide housing hotline in 1997, I've heard from over 30,000 Idahoans. It's never been easier to become homeless than in the past decade. The reasons people cite for evictions or foreclosures are diverse: layoffs, injury and illness; divorce, abuse, or abandonment; (rarely) untreated mental illness or drug use, and—most commonly—a recent change in ownership of their rental, which forced rents up and tenants out.
We can and need to do better to protect and expand locally owned and managed rental housing and shelter options that meet the needs and incomes of everyone in our community.

Fundraising, Public Relations, Marketing, Event Production and Special Programs at Interfaith Sanctuary Homeless Shelter
Interfaith Sanctuary has been so blessed with the partnerships that have surrounded this project. Guho Corp and erstad architecture gave us hours and hours of work without billing us until our funding was in place. Geoffrey Wardle, our lawyer and his team, fought alongside us with his expertise and passion getting us to an approved application never taking a dime from our organization. Now we have found that one bank who was willing to find a way to bring this much needed funding to our project. Heritage Bank leaned way in finding ways to overcome the challenges of lending to a non-profit homeless shelter who relies on 100% donations to do their work. We are so grateful to have built a team of leaders who believe in bringing hopes and dreams to reality in the building of this new shelter.
Did you know Denver almost missed out on becoming the bustling city it is today?
🚂 When the transcontinental railroad was built, it completely bypassed Denver, putting its future in jeopardy! But in 1860, local leaders raised $300,000 to build a connecting rail line, saving the city and paving the way for its growth.
It's a reminder that strong community efforts can change everything! 💪 Just like Denver's leaders took action to secure the city's future, you can take action when it comes to your real estate goals. Whether you're buying, selling, or investing, staying ahead of the curve is key.
Looking to make your next move in Denver? Let's connect and ensure your future is just as bright as the city's past! 🌟

As you may know, vast majority of my land sales have been conducted off-market, catering to clients who value discretion. This approach has not only maintained but also enhanced the value and desirability of the land I sell.
However, business is always evolving and I am now collaborating with large companies and charities seeking greater exposure. To accommodate these needs, we have integrated Rightmove into our platform, ensuring wider visibility for one-off units and sites that may not suit my traditional off market clientele. It was indeed rewarding to see this sell through Rightmove Commercial.
Land. We get it.
