I guess you can say we had a "marshmallow on a spaghetti stick" situation during our Pro Sales Class yesterday. . . The class activity was simple, the tallest standing tower wins. However, navigating the group decision-making process proved a bit complicated. We had to exchange ideas within a 20-minute time constraint. My teammates – David Cantu, Alejandro Garcia, and Ashton Bennett – had to come up with a plan to prop up our tower. Decision-making took different forms: - First, determining the foundation's shape and how to proceed from there - Second, analyzing failures and identifying necessary additions for structural support - Third, managing the time constraint. We prioritized having an imperfect standing tower over none at all, emphasizing the need to remain time-conscious and ensure our marshmallow could stand before time ran out. I found it somewhat frustrating that I couldn't fully express my ideas due to the time constraint. Nevertheless, it served as a valuable lesson reflecting the fast-paced nature of real-world scenarios.
