Welcome to the Parent's Panel! A place where parents to children of all ages can learn more about how to connect with and strengthen their children's mental health! This week Alissa Hammond, Psychiatric Provider Assistant, gives her best tips at each stage of life on how you can help your children regulate their mental health: 🌀 Early Youth (0-10): Teach your children the value of open communication and honesty. Avoid punishments when your children are truthful as it could lead to problems later on in the relationship between your children and you. 🌀 Teen Years (11-19): Continue open and honest communication with your children. There will be many opportunities to guide your teenagers through any issues. Do not punish them for honestly owning up to a mistake. 🌀 Adulthood (20+): Therapy is a great option at any age as well. Therapists can help bridge any gaps in communication if you are having trouble connecting with your children! Visit our website at: https://lnkd.in/gKfPsHzS

✅✨ “Mental Health in Children" is an important factor that influences “Success in School and Life”. If mental health problems within children go unresolved, "Negative Outcomes" such as academic and behavior problems can arise. "Mental Health" is not only the absence of mental illness, but also includes "Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Health", along with the ability to cope with life's challenges. As the need for mental health services for children and youth grow, schools are becoming an "Ideal Place" to provide this form of service. 📍#MentalHealthAwareness 0️⃣9️⃣🔸0️⃣1️⃣🔸2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣4️⃣ Ⓜ️ @Masoud_km
