Just a quick reminder with the excessive summer heat we’re experiencing🔥 Your AC is only designed to cool your home to about 15-20 degrees less than the outside temperature. So, unless it’s only 85 degrees outside to begin with, you’ll never get that cool 65 degrees you may want. Your AC is simply not designed to work that way. Here are a few things we do at our home to help keep the house cooler without overworking the AC: 👉 Keep blinds or curtains closed during peak sun of the day 👉 Keep ceiling fans on and be sure they are rotating counter clockwise 👉 Make sure you have had your system recently cleaned and serviced including changing the air filters 👉 Set thermostat to 76-78 during the day. At bedtime, set thermostat between 70-72. #YourMotherDaughterHWTeam #ThePowerToChoose #RealEstate #AchosaDifference #Loveyourhomewarrantycompany #TheNewWayToWarranty

DID YOU KNOW?: Your AC is designed to keep your home 20 degrees cooler than outside. That means if it’s 95 degrees outside, it will feel like 75 degrees inside your home. If you still feel hot, even with the unit running, consider shutting your curtains and blinds to keep sunlight out. It will also help to keep your system’s fan running, helping circulate cooler air throughout your home.

Close the Blinds - Keep those pesky sunrays out by closing blinds or curtains during the hottest part of the day. 2. Use Fans Wisely - Ceiling fans and portable fans can help circulate air, making your rooms feel cooler. Remember to turn off fans when you leave the room! 3. Opt for LED Bulbs - LED bulbs emit less heat and consume less power. 4. Cook Outdoors—To keep your home cooler, fire up the grill instead of using the stove or oven. 5. Filters! Some homes have a 1" metal filter door cover. Most of the time I find them laying on the ground. This lets basement air bypass your filter. Starting from the bottom, can make installing this cover a bit easier! Filters can last weeks to months depending on your home. I recommend checking one inch filters monthly to help prevent air flow problems. ⬅️⬅️ The arrow on the filter points towards the furnace. Indoor air quality questions? #CallOnReliance 😁
