let's using fire rated mgo board
Just because I haven't been posting about them does not mean they're not happening still. Let's continue using fire watch. That's working well!! Glad no fire fighters were injured in this massive blaze in Sacramento. Lucky for everyone in the area, there was a rig heading back to the station when they saw this massive inferno.

Fire Service Network, here is a great read from Daniel Haight at Darkhorse Emergency on how fire service leaders ought to be putting resources (time, money, effort) toward impacting the demand side through strategic risk reduction. #CRR #Analytics #LowerDemand #WFCA
Is preventing a call more important than a perfect response by your fire department? Darkhorse Emergency explores this question in the latest edition of the Washington Fire Commissioners Association Fireline publication. https://hubs.la/Q02twpjc0 #CRR

This is an interesting post from Stephanie Conn, PhD, ABPP, Police/Public Safety Psychology! I love this dialogue because our reaction to trauma has a lot to do with not only what we experience, but what we bring to the table/what precedes it. To me, this explains why events lead to different reactions in different people and how some critical incidents impact us more based on what else is happening at the time. What is your experience? #criticalincidents #trauma #firstresponders

In updating a firefighter suicide identification-prevention-intervention course for a contract agency, I encountered the following quote from Richard Gist Patricia Watson Frank Leto & Vickie Taylor. Genius! I couldn't agree more. What are you doing as an individual or as an agency to be prepared 2 days before?

This situation is unacceptable and preventable. The tools and the practices exist in the industry to minimize or eliminate this possibilty…we all know that in our industry time is money, and often proper procedures are overlooked because of the money. It’s time to change that mindset and start taking the time to be safe, and potentially save lives. In Canada, this is an immediate $50,000 fine before any actions have taken place. This should be a higher cost, ultimately, the fine is going to cost a lot more then the time it takes to make sure the job is done proper. #teamcounteract
Be careful out there. This happened to us recently coming back from West Texas. Fortunately, no one was hurt and minimal damage… Timothy Dooner strap work was acceptable.

I find it offensive when a company pretends to have the best cellular service in the United States while knowing their service is subpar. It's crucial to get the most out of your cellular company and ensure the best coverage for essential services like EMS, fire departments, and police departments when needed. Believing that two out of the three companies can fulfill this vital role for our emergency services.
