Soaking up the sun in a few of our favorite decks and courtyards in our fire station projects! “When do firefighters have time to relax?” you might ask. In between calls to aid their community, it is important that firefighters can decompress and recharge, so they are continually ready to attend to the next call.    Outdoor spaces provide a moment of respite and help firefighters maintain their mental health as they navigate the psychological demands of their jobs. We have designed these spaces to provide views out from the residential areas of the station, yet to also be concealed from public view, allowing the firefighters to relax and get fresh air in privacy. Be safe out there with the BBQs, fireworks, and swimming pools this holiday weekend - and MANY THANKS to our firefighters and first responders!
