Fun Fact About Me: I LOVE to read! But not just any kind of book. I'm truly obsessed with learning. 📚 I credit Carol Cox from Speaking Your Brand for how I choose what to absorb. Back in 2020, I participated in her Choosing Women's Voices Challenge and became mindful of who's info I was taking in. Now I'm quite particular about reading books by women, women of color, trans women, and so on. I realized how my knowledge and perspective evolved because of this. I don’t empower women. I provide the space, tools & guidance for them to empower themselves. I don’t fish for them I fish with them I never try to convince them that they need me. Because they don’t. THEY are doing the work. It’s all in them. Everything they need, want, desire and hope to be. I simply guide them into it. Help them become aware of what they’re doing. Lead them into healing the parts of them they didn’t know how to— or even think that they could. I’ve done the stacks of books and the years of therapy. I know what it’s like to feel like there’s something inherently wrong inside and no matter what I do, nothing sticks. What makes me special and different from allllllll the other coaches out there is that I’ve done this for myself. So I KNOW I can help them do it too. I’ve been there. And my well of compassion is DEEP. Which they can feel. So no, I don’t empower women. I just show them how truly fucking powerful they already are. #highlevelwomen #personaldevelopment

Wrote this poem in 2022 for a Poetry competition themed "Women safety at Workplace" whose results I haven't got till date. 🙃 As today is International Women's day and we are celebrating women's achievements and strengths in every domain. So, Here is the poem showing the other side of women's lives. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Women 💝 Do you really need to be protected ? No. You just need to be respected. Respected, For the sacrifices you are making. For the strength you are showing. Every single day. Beaten by your husband. Bullied by your colleagues. And still taking it easy, Is what is seen as sleazy. Everything messed up in mind, Hiding your pain behind, Not able to sleep whole night, And still afraid to fight. Is not at all right. You are betrayed, But don't be afraid. This dark phase is going to fade. Yes, You are paid. But this harassment is not, For what you are made. You have tolerated a lot, But just give it a thought. Is this what you have been taught ? It's been tough. So Speak up. And tell them. That now, it's enough. Stop being timid. Hold your own hand. And take a stand.
