Secure the Match | Personal Statement Writing | ERAS CV + Resume Development | 1:1 Coaching | 91% Match Success Rate | #1 IMG Writing Service | Owner at MedMatchPros, LLC
How to secure an in-patient USCE for #MATCH2025, without paying thousands of $. - Reach out to colleagues who’ve conducted in-patient experiences and ask that they connect you with their contact - Hone in on IMG friendly states, here’s a list of the top 10: https://lnkd.in/gvkgbb7z - Compile a list of “externship”, “observership”, “visiting student rotation”, “clinical elective rotation” in those hospitals - Apply via their online portal if readily available, but ALSO - Contact the graduate medical education coordinator or person in charge and ask about what you can do to land a rotation TIPS: 1️⃣ Utilize your network 2️⃣ Landing a rotation in an IMG friendly program is optimal, given that you could build rapport with the PD 3️⃣ Be professional, responsive and kind when speaking to anyone involved in helping you land a rotation 4️⃣ Plan ahead! Many programs only allow IMGs to observe/extern during specific months 5️⃣ If you’re put on a waitlist, find out from the coordinator how you can move ahead on the waitlist 6️⃣ Offer a winning CV and cover letter to stand out This method is extensive + requires time. However, often times, you do not need a recruiting agency or to pay thousands of dollars to land a rotation. You mostly need to plan ahead and be PROACTIVE.
