From Goldman Sachs Intern to Full-Time Software Engineer! Transitioning from a summer intern to a full-time Software Engineer was an incredibly fulfilling experience. It was an enriching journey, filled with learning, challenges, and immense hard work and preparation. During my internship, I made it a point to learn as much as I could, not just from my assigned tasks but also from mentors and available resources. From day one, I treated the internship like a real job. I proactively took ownership of my tasks and asked clarifying questions to exceed expectations. I documented my work meticulously, presented findings clearly, and actively sought feedback from my peers. I voluntarily connected with my manager and stakeholders frequently to seek feedback, which helped me build strong relationships within a few months. As the internship neared its end, I also started preparing for full-time interviews as a backup, just in case I didn't get a PPO. Practicing coding questions regularly, refreshing core CS concepts, and doing mock interviews with friends helped me a lot during this time. By following these steps, I was able to land job offers from Barclays and Nvidia before my internship ended. I also received the most coveted PPO and decided to pursue Goldman Sachs as a full-time Software Engineer. I'm incredibly grateful for the experiences that led me here. Happy National Intern Day! This year, we’re not just celebrating our incredible interns at T-Mobile, but also a milestone moment – the 10th anniversary of our Internship Program! Over the past decade, our program has been recognized as a Top 100 Internship Program not once, but five times! (2017, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2023) Our interns are more than just interns. They’ve been the stars of TV commercials, the brains behind patents, and the future leaders of the wireless revolution. They’re not just watching from the sidelines; they’re making their mark and driving us forward. At T-Mobile, we’re all about breaking the rules of wireless and we’re just getting started. Our interns play a big part in that. They’re bold, they’re innovative, and they’re ready to change the game. Here’s to another decade of empowering the next generation of game-changers. Here’s to our interns! #NationalInternDay #TMobile #Uncarrier #InternshipProgram #Innovation

I'm actually tired of these posts that require you to comment down your email or #interested ⚠️ Why people don't understand that no company offers internships/jobs by publicly asking you out for emails. ☕ Look, if a company is actually hiring, don't you think they will provide you a registration link or an email to drop down your Resume? 🤔 I'm just posting this to inform my connections, as I've seen many people commenting down #interested or dropping below their emails ⚠️Beware of these scams, these are just attention grabbing techniques to increase their post's reach. They might also use your data for various unwanted purposes... Just check the post below it's the best thing I came across today 😭😂 read the caption and check the comments. People don't even bother reading the caption and start to drop down their personal emails ❌ Be safe, peace out! ✨
Apple just posted their Summer 2025 Software Engineering internships! Drop your email below, and I'll do absolutely nothing.

SWE at Microsoft |Youtube:@thecatalystgirl |Seasonal Intern’22 and Summer Analyst'21@GoldmanSachs |exSDE Intern @Clicflyer|GHC'21 Scholar |IGDTUW'22|
From “I think I will get rejected” To securing a PPO at Goldman Sachs Here's what truly made the difference. ⬇ When I was shortlisted for the interview, I did more than just brush up on a few concepts. ✅ Concise introduction: I prepared a brief, impactful self-introduction. ✅ Timed problem-solving: I practised solving 2 medium-level coding questions daily within an hour. ✅ Mock interviews: I did many mock interviews with friends and seniors to build confidence. I was nervous but thanks to the support of my friends and seniors, and a proper strategy I landed the internship. Now, you too can get a winning interview preparation strategy and 1:1 guidance by connecting with senior engineers on Preplaced All you have to do is book a free session with them here: https://lnkd.in/gu3GUe2c They have helped multiple people land internships and full-time roles at top companies like Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Uber, Salesforce and more. My “mom I made it moment was” - Securing PPO’s from Microsoft, Morgan Stanley and Walmart 🙌 The most important factors that made my internships successful were: ➤ Take ownership of your project, keep your manager updated and take regular feedback ➤ Write clean and well-designed code by creating proper classes, writing meaningful variable names and improving code quality. ➤ Do not hesitate to ask questions but make sure to complete your research first. I always looked back to my senior colleagues who guided me throughout my internship journey 💯 I even connected with expert SDEs for guidance and resume reviews. You can also connect with dedicated SDEs, who can help you grab that dream offer. With them, you can have 1:1 upskilling sessions, resume reviews, referrals and even practice interviews! To kickstart your journey, simply book a FREE session here - https://lnkd.in/gATvfSu8 I’m rooting for your “mom, I made it” moment and so are these mentors on Preplaced ❤️ #interviewpreparation #ppo #internship #collab #preplacedcollab #success #microsoft #walmart #morganstanley #placement #interview #opportunity

Technical Program Management Intern at Microsoft | USC NSBE President | Trustee Scholar and Viterbi Fellow at USC
Just completed my first week at Microsoft! I am so thankful to my team for their warm welcome and I am excited to grow my skills this summer! Starting off a new internship can be quite daunting; however, my number one tip in the beginning, is to make connections. Here are a couple ways to do so: 📌 Set up coffee chats with your team! Learn as much as you can about the company, your team, and how your project fits into the greater scope of your organization. 📌 Set up 1:1's with you manager/mentor to set clear expectations and goals for your internship. 📌 Make friends! Ask fellow interns for lunch, go to events when possible, and build your peer-peer network of support. 📌 Set up coffee chats with people whose interests/values align with your own: explore other company disciplines, find alumni from your university/college, or people from your hometown! Goodluck to everyone interning this summer, and for those still searching, keep going, while rejections can be plentiful, it only takes one "yes" to change your life! PS: No internship? Check out resources such as The Tech Cadets to build technical experience this summer! #womaninstem #blackwomeninstem #nsbe

Managing Director, Head of Technology for Consumer Banking, Business Banking and Core Banking at JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Your first internship is a major step in your career journey. I had the privilege to see the incredible work our Chase interns did in Hyderabad this summer. They’ve been hard at work making progress on key projects like: - Reducing tech costs - Modernizing and standardizing our applications - Simplifying our tools to make us more efficient - Improving our observability tools and practices - Reducing validation times They’ve meaningfully contributed to our organization and learned some new skills along the way like Agile practices, prioritization, time management and new tech stacks. Certifications in specific cloud applications don’t matter if your soft skills aren’t up to snuff, and I am proud that our interns had a chance to practice these as well. My advice to our outgoing class: to achieve your career aspirations, you have to take advantage of opportunities connections, learning opportunities, etc. I am so proud of what our internships accomplished this summer. Look out, 2025, you have a lot to live up to! #interns2024 #tech #careerjourney
