Materials Engineering Technology Intern at Medtronic | BS/MD Student at the University of Pittsburgh

✨ Vote Daily!!! ✨ I am thrilled to share that I have been nominated for Yello.co and WayUp's Top 100 Intern List for 2024! My internship with Medtronic has been an incredible journey, filled with learning, growth, and impactful projects. I would be immensely grateful for your support to help me get featured. During my time at Medtronic, I have had the unique opportunity to work alongside some of the most compassionate, driven, and innovative professionals. This experience has not only shaped my career goals but has also reinforced my commitment to Medtronic’s mission of alleviating pain, restoring health, and extending life. Here’s why I believe I deserve to be recognized: ✨ 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦-𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠: Throughout my internship, I have demonstrated a growth mindset and resilience, embracing challenges and learning from my mistakes. I took the initiative to independently investigate the unique properties of different materials and contributed innovative ideas to projects. ✨ 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Despite being the newest, youngest, and least experienced person on the team, I recognized, drew upon, and coordinated the unique strengths of everyone on the team. I asked for help when needed, advocated for my ideas, and took risks to innovate the extraordinary. I made it a point to keep my team close and leaned on their expertise to make educated decisions, fostering a collaborative environment that drove our projects forward successfully. ✨ 𝐃𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜’𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: The Medtronic Mission strongly resonates with my desire to create technologies that improve a patient's quality of life. Beyond simply living longer, I want to enable patients to live the lives that they want to live. My grandmother got a Medtronic pacemaker more than 10 years ago. She is with us today because of the incredible hard work, genius, and passion of the people that work at Medtronic. Working at Medtronic is an opportunity for me to pay it forward and create meaningful, long-lasting change in somebody's life. ✨ 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: The people at Medtronic are compassionate, driven, and confident. They serve with a purpose which enables them to accomplish extraordinary feats that save and improve patients' lives. Everyone I have interacted with has treated me with kindness and mentored me to be a more holistic engineer. This type of work culture aligns perfectly with my personal values and professional aspirations. 🔹 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐕𝐨𝐭𝐞: 🔹 1. Go to the National Intern Day website. 2. Create an account using your email. 3.
