Staaaaaaaaaay close to the phones today! We are making our last calls to #EmeraldAward#Finalists! We cannot wait to celebrate with you on October 11th!
Fingers crossed for you and your teams. May the odds be ever in your favor!
On Monday morning, the world will wake up to a new #1 men's tennis player as 22-year-old Jannik Sinner becomes the first Italian ever to achieve this milestone.
Jannik is a quiet hero who, through hard work, humility, and the support of an amazing team, has reached the pinnacle of tennis.
Here are three lessons from Jannik and his team, which can be applied to any professional team:
1. "The most important thing is to strive to do your best in life. After that, the rest is beyond your control. Life is unpredictable: a match you seem to be losing might turn into a win, and one you think you have won might slip away at match point. Sometimes, to win, you must continue to endure."
🌟 Resilience over uncertainty: Navigating uncertain territories is difficult and exhausting. Getting yourself to focus on what you can control is difficult but something that helps me staying sane when everything feels overwhelming.
2. "I don’t believe in talent as something you are born with. You earn it. You might have slightly better abilities, but it's only through hard work that you'll rise above. The ones who work the hardest are the ones with true talent."
🌟 Redefining Talent: Talent is developed through dedication and hard work, not just inherent ability. Cultivating a strong work ethic can lead to incredible achievements, no matter what is your start in life.
3. "I treat everyone the same way, whether it's the number 1 player or someone cleaning the locker rooms. I always behave the same way, with respect and politeness."
🌟 Respect: Embrace a culture that recognises everyone's contribution to success. There are so many people behind a successful teams that are there to make it happen, let's not forget it.

Embracing Failure: A Lesson from the Ring 🥊
We often hear about the importance of celebrating successes, but today, I want to share one of my failures. In one of my professional boxing matches, I was stopped by a liver shot (two to be exact). A tough moment, but one that taught me invaluable lessons.
You can check out the highlight reel below, but more importantly, I hope it serves as a reminder that setbacks are just as crucial as victories. They push us to grow, to adapt, and ultimately to become better versions of ourselves.
Whether it's in the ring or in the boardroom, embracing our failures with the same energy as our successes is key to long-term growth. Let's continue to learn and evolve, one punch at a time.

Angelica Bengtsson wanted to break a big record. But while she was trying, her pole broke! It was a big problem for her. Most pole vaulters would feel very worried. But Angelica didn't give up. She stayed strong and didn't let this problem stop her. She got up and decided to try again.

Even though her pole was broken and everyone was feeling tense, Angelica had one more chance. She didn't feel sad about what happened before. She showed how strong she was. She quickly found a new pole and got ready for her last try. She didn't hesitate. She wanted to break the record.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝐀 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧:
Angelica did something amazing. She didn't just fix the problem with her pole. With her last try, she didn't just break the record for Sweden. She showed that even when things are hard, you can still do great things. Her big win tells us that problems can't stop us if we keep going. It's like the saying, "Don't give up until the end." Angelica's amazing moment is a good reminder that problems are just small bumps on the road to winning.
