Can you imagine cooking 🍍 🍍 pineapple and coconut 🥥 to a delicious treat 😋! <Andu a nyumba irio to githeri 😃 😀 > Most of the comments yesterday on coconut 🥥 cooking was why they were cooking coconut instead of eating it raw? 1. Because they can. 2. Because they want to. 3. Because it is their tradition. 4. Because they enjoy it that way. For us who has never experienced a cooked coconut we remain open minded. If human beings were more open to trying new foods and recipes we would have sustainable food systems and malthusiasim will never catch up with us. Today's snack we cook pineapples 🍍 and coconut together all the way from India. Again where I come from this is unheard of, but maybe if we learnt how to cook them, we would reduce hunger and malnutrition and curb post harvest losses. We don't have to be always in a hurry to finish them fresh? ama? Share/REPOST the video for wider reach ❤️. In Kerala, India and a lot of coastal regions in South Asia, coconut water is consumed raw, the soft flesh is eaten raw(tender coconut), the white flesh is eaten raw or is used cooked in a variety of sweet or savoury dishes. Type ‘South Indian curries with coconut’ in YouTube, and you will get a few recipes with cooked coconut.

Ugh. She ruined a perfectly good pineapple with a bunch of toxic sugar.

The most nutrients come from fresh not cooked fruit, hence that is the best way to eat them. Cooking fruits is OK as long as you know the fact above. Making a smoothie with pineapple, coconut and one silk fig is also wonderful to taste and very nutritious. Just be mindful of not consuming too much sugar using fresh or cooked fruit. Enjoy. 😊
