#WomensDay2024: On the way to an inclusive corporate culture! Today is #InternationalWomensDay. As a co-signatory of the Diversity Charter (@charta-der-vielfalt), we in the Wacker Neuson Group are one of over 5,000 companies that are actively committed to diversity and equal opportunities. For us, a diverse workforce includes a clear commitment to equal rights – not only in terms of gender and gender identity, but other core dimensions such as age or ethnic origin as well. One of the first measures is our newly founded Women@WackerNeuson initiative at our Munich headquarters, which offers a platform, encourages colleagues to exchange ideas and develop their strengths with training series, e.g. on financial education. Together, we are working to ensure that equality and diversity are the norm in business culture, not just on International Women's Day, but every day of the year! We at the Wacker Neuson Group are showing solidarity with this year's #IWD theme and #inspireinclusion across the world and our organization: a small gesture that comes straight from our hearts. #equality #Diversity #Inclusion #womensday #Chancengleichheit #bestcompanytoworkfor #DiversityMatters #WomenEmpowerment #EqualOpportunities #IWD2024 #InspireInclusion

Happy International Women's Day! Today, we celebrate the profound impact of diversity in our communities and workplaces. Embracing different perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds is crucial to fostering a culture where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their best. Championing diversity is not just about hiring practices or quotas. There are several things we can do today to make our workplaces and communities more diverse and inclusive: - Support diverse suppliers and businesses - Listen and learn from different viewpoints - Challenge stereotypes and misconceptions - Celebrate and promote diverse groups Let's commit to making diversity and inclusion a priority every day, not just on International Women's Day. Together, we can create a more equitable and inclusive world for all. #InternationalWomensDay #DiversityandInclusion #Equity #Empowerment

Tomorrow is International Women’s Day, and Renovo are ready to embrace this year’s theme of Inspire Inclusion. Led by insights from our incredible Susan Balsdon, she shares what inclusion truly means to her whilst highlighting the importance of empowering diverse perspectives in the workplace: “Sitting here in my UK work bubble, for a considerate employer, I am fortunate that I have been able to work for over 25 years. Starting out in the days when a women had to work harder, longer and study more to prove that her experience and contribution brought value to the team. Today my working environment encourages people to share knowledge, skills and views. On reflection, even today, there are many women in parts of the world who are not permitted to thrive or work. Everyone has so much potential and deserves to be heard, embraced, and rewarded for talent and not gender. International Women’s Day brings this to the forefront.” (Susan Balsdon, Circular Project Development Manager). I am incredibly proud of the this team and all that each of them do for the Organization. i am also aware that we need to do more than what we are doing today! Local demographics and situations require different approaches I believe that small steps (such as below) that we take make a huge impact in our efforts towards retaining or adding new women talent. 1. Cultivating a culture of Inclusion 2. Flexibility with Work-Life balance 3. Opportunity to lead strategic initiatives 4. Mitigate risks of unconscious bias 5. Assign a coach to high potential/performers Happy Women's Day!!

This year's International Women's Day theme is "inspiring inclusion". That's an easy one for us at Flexpertae to aim for since our reason for being was founded on inclusion and ethical business. Inclusion through the adoption of individually tailored flexible working to help those for whom flexible working is a "must have" to remain in paid employment - the care-givers, working mums and dads, people with disabilities, older workers, the neurodiverse. To find mechanisms to help them, disproportionately women due to the care-giving element, to: - enter the workforce - re-enter the workforce - be able to thrive through ways of working which free rather than constrain - progress in their careers rather than be demoted due to flexibility needs We have some exciting ideas coming up this year. Stay tuned and have a wonderfully inspired and inclusive #IWD2024. https://lnkd.in/deBSyVW

International Women’s Day 2024 – Forging Equality It’s great to see companies within the built environment and construction sector celebrating International Women's Day 2024 and is a testament to the progress we've made and the journey we're still on towards greater equality and representation. I chose to pursue a career in the construction industry 27 years ago because I was drawn to the dynamic nature of the work, the opportunity to create tangible, lasting relationships and the challenge of breaking into a traditionally male-dominated field. Over the years, I've witnessed significant progress in diversity and inclusion within the industry. More women are joining the ranks, bringing diverse perspectives and skill sets to the table. It's heartening to see my own daughter following in my footsteps, entering the industry with enthusiasm and determination. However, despite the progress we've made, there's still work to be done. We need to continue striving for gender equality at all levels of the industry, including leadership positions. Encouraging more women to pursue careers in construction, providing support and mentorship opportunities, and fostering inclusive work environments are crucial steps toward achieving this goal. I am proud of my contribution to this cause, however small, through my work in the delivery of Social Value and in association with Forging Links networking group. As we celebrate International Women's Day, let's reflect on how far we've come and recommit ourselves to creating a more equitable and diverse construction industry for future generations of women. Together, we can break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and pave the way for a more inclusive future. ##iwd24 #diversityandinclusion #edi

#InclusionMatters campaign: International Women’s Day 2024 is inspiring inclusion – and WifOR Institute is contributing to a fairer, more inclusive society. We asked HR Manager Lotta Janzen how companies can build the framework for an inclusive workplace. Here is what she answered: “Consideration, awareness of shortcomings, and continual development create the conditions to shape an inclusive culture. But crucially, measures which are most impactful will differ for each company.” Learn how organizations can effectively implement Diversity, Equity & Inclusion measures in this article: https://lnkd.in/d_mMc9uz #DEI #IWD2024 #InspireInclusion
