To ensure the nation's prosperity in Technology and Product Development, our industries and corporates should prioritize building a system that fosters the development of more CTOs (Chief Technology Officers), Chief Engineers, Technocrats, Domain Consultants, and Engineering Leaders, rather than solely focusing on CEOs and PMP-certified professionals. The passion for engineering in a country does not depend on how many engineering graduates enter the workforce, it depends on how many seasoned professionals will be retiring as engineers. Continuing from the yesterdays (28.10.2023) post where I talked on what were the challenges we were facing for the execution of project as we were tasked to establish a green field aerospace project for one of words leading aerospace and defense company in India --- Management worked on 7 point agenda- 1)    Hiring an expert to lead this program in India. 2)    Hiring core team of professionals under the his leadership. 3)    Frequent visit of core team to the customer plants for better insights and convincing customer to station their tech support team at our site. 4)    Bringing Young and bright talent as Graduate Engineer trainees and Diploma engineer trainees and train them by few retired personals from premium institutions. 5)    Planning work was out sourced and a multilevel, deep reviews were done by the Core team members. 6)    Monitoring team progress in training for department allotments. 7)    Team discussion frequently with leadership in order to close monitor the action taken by teams. So By applying these 7 point agenda to develop a team and shapeup a company are really herculean tasks and many of the time they dint work as per plan. And this forced us to change our strategy for the team development. So what happened ???? Have these 7 point action plan back fired us ????? We completely changed these course of actions????? Then what we did further to move ahead ??????
