We're kicking off our NAIDOC Week celebrations with exciting news - our Wintjiri Wiṟu "Behind the Scenes" documentary will premiere on Qantas Inflight Entertainment, as part of its special NAIDOC collection. Titled ‘An Ancient Story Takes Flight’, the short film offers a glimpse into how ancient tradition and modern technology fused together to bring the show to life and how Aṉangu guided Ayers Rock Resort through the project. Catch the doco on your next Qantas flight, or at the Arkani Theatre at Ayers Rock Resort, Uluṟu. 【Visitor arrivals to Hong Kong】 The provisional visitor arrivals to Hong Kong in July were 3.92 million, up about 10% from the same period last year. About half of the visitors stayed overnight. Cumulatively, Hong Kong received about 25 million visitors from January to July this year, a 52% year-on-year increase. Click the image to find out more Starting from May this year, a series of drone shows and pyrotechnic displays have been presented to tie in with festivals and events in town to enrich visitors’ experience and encourage the local public to enjoy the shows, enhancing the overall festive ambience and event appeal. More than 90% of the tourists surveyed agreed that the campaign had enhanced their experience of visiting Hong Kong, and more than 95% said they would recommend it to their friends and relatives. In the coming months, drone shows and pyrotechnic displays will continue to be organised, including a festival-themed drone show on the evening of the Mid-Autumn Festival (17 September).
