As you probably already know, we were attending blind and visually impaired expo “SightCity”, where we showed our new solutions: “Portal” and “Pulsar”. The expo is mostly geared towards personal devices and private persons, not companies, but we asked for feedback from all who had a moment to play with our system. We received a ton of smiles, looks like we’re on to something here. It was nice to see not only blind and visually impaired people interested in our stuff, but also people who can see. We have learned some lessons, for example, now we understand that speech should be a lot faster by default, pauses a lot shorter. Also, we screwed up Braille “8” button, and wrote “6” on it instead, stuff happens :) We see that there is a need for these kinds of solutions, this will greatly increase the quality of life and independence of a certain group of people, and we hope that these solutions will be actively implemented in the near future. This project takes masterpieces by Beethoven, Vivaldi, Holst, amongst others and transforms them into an interactive, immersive experience in the creative mode of one of the world's most popular games. Players engage with these works organically, within a context they love and understand, rather than being introduced through traditional concert halls. It’s a game-changer—pun intended. This is the way forward for orchestras worldwide. We must step beyond our comfort zones and meet audiences where they already are. Gaming, streaming, digital innovation—these are not enemies of tradition but tools for its evolution. Philarmonie de Paris didn’t just create an "event"; they crafted an experience that bridges generations, breaking barriers between the past and the present, between art and life.
