It’s an unfortunate reality that domestic abuse happens within our country. It’s even more sad to realize that it happens so often that there are large nonprofits that take care of family members in these situations.
Safe Harbor in Greenville “provides pathways for people impacted by domestic abuse to survive and thrive, and raises awareness of domestic abuse through community engagement and education.” Their services include a 24 hour hotline, emergency shelters, transitional housing, counseling, case management, and much more.
There are quite a few ways you can get involved. You can donate in terms of money but you can also donate standard living items like kitchen or household goods, diapers and clothing for children, school supplies, and other needs. You can also volunteer to help carry out the vision of Safe Harbor.
Consider helping families be free from the constraints of abuse.

Human Trafficking is a complex global issue with an organized network that is based on the exploitation of vulnerable communities. While it is challenging to break it, it is more effective to prevent it.
How do we do that?
By providing support to underserved communities, removing barriers to work and access, and enabling access to opportunities for financial independence and skill development. According to the 'Trafficking in Person Report : A global assessment', education and awareness intervention can prevent human trafficking.
Let's make #Futurewithouttrafficking a reality!

Today, Nomi Network is participating in North Texas Giving Day, the largest community-wide giving event in the U.S. This year, Communities Foundation of Texas will match donations to our campaign, dollar for dollar, up to $5,000. That means if we raise $5,000, we'll double it to $10,000!
Your donations will help us bring economic empowerment to youth in Dallas, TX who are survivors or highly at risk of human trafficking and exploitation. Together, we can break generational cycles of poverty, and create a future a #FutureWithoutTrafficking. Click here to donate: https://lnkd.in/euuVEJvf

The Prime Legacy of Global Powerhouse | Dan Murphy's | Gregory Anderson—The Empowering Influence of Empathy and Kindness in Corporate Social Responsibility: Inspiring Global Change for the Homeless
In a world where profit margins are often prioritized over compassion, an individual has emerged as a beacon of hope for the homeless population through an universal commitment to kindness and empathy. Dan Murphy, a visionary leader in the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR), has not only successfully raised funds to support the homeless but has also initiated a global movement of goodwill and social transformation.
The intersection of CSR, ethical leadership, and societal impact has never been more crucial than in today's increasingly interconnected world. Murphy's actions serve as a poignant reminder of the transformative power that businesses possess in shaping a more equitable and inclusive society. By extending a helping hand to those in need, he has not only alleviated the suffering of the homeless but has also sparked a ripple effect of generosity and compassion that transcends borders and cultures.
At the core of Dan Murphy's endeavors lies a deep-seated belief in the ethical foundation of CSR – a belief that businesses have a moral obligation to make positive contributions to society and uplift those who are marginalized and vulnerable. Through his strategic framework for ethical leadership, a new standard for corporate philanthropy has been established by Dan Murphy, one that prioritizes empathy, kindness, and authentic human connection above all else.
As we navigate the complexities of a rapidly changing world, Dan Murphy's example serves as a guiding light for both businesses and individuals. His actions remind us that true leadership is not solely measured by profits but by the impact we have on the lives of others and the legacy of compassion we leave behind.
In an era characterized by uncertainty and division, let us draw inspiration from Dan Murphy's remarkable journey and commit ourselves to creating a world where kindness and empathy are paramount. Together, we can forge a future where every individual – regardless of their circumstances – is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Let’s unite and embark on a collective journey towards a more just, inclusive, and compassionate world – a world where the homeless are not forgotten but embraced with open hearts and outstretched hands.
Together, a difference can be made. Together, a brighter future for all can be created.
Join in the movement for change. Together, the world can be transformed, one act of kindness at a time.

💙 Dan Murphy's National GIVIT Day - Saturday 22 June 💙
Did you know that on any given night,122,494 people in Australia are facing homelessness?
If you’re heading to a Dan Murphy’s store this Saturday, we’d love your support to help us reach our goal of $250,000 to help the homeless this winter.
You’ll see our team members donning beanies, hosting BBQs or running raffles, all in the name of lifting the bar for our community.
As always Dan Murphy’s proudly kicks off every appeal with a $100,000 donation.
The wonderful people at GIVIT.org.au do amazing work every day, channelling generosity where it’s needed to support vulnerable people and communities.
As I work to aid Charitable children institutions in transitioning towards family and community care, I often come across organizations dealing with children aging out of the care system. These children often lack independent living skills and encounter numerous obstacles, sometimes without supportive community networks. It's disheartening that they have to leave the system without the support and love of a family. Facilitating the search for suitable families for these children is crucial in ensuring their continued growth and well-being beyond institutional care.

Better Decisions Counseling needs donations for its new transitional house. It does not have to be money. It can be furniture, especially bedroom and living room furniture, dishes, bathroom items, or whatever extra you have lying around your house. Even clothing or shoes. Bring the donations to the office of Better Decisions Counseling located at 10366 Rockingham Drive, Sacramento, CA 95827. You can also call (916)368-0700 if you know someone who needs help from Better Decisions Counseling with counseling.
The house will be a 12-bed transitional house for individuals or couples getting a second chance at life and a helping hand back into normal society. People who were once homeless addicts especially those who were justice-involved, could use your help as mentors.
