"CEO says he tried to hire an AI researcher from Meta and was told to 'come back to me when you have 10,000 H100 GPUs'" Problems of the modern era, when you don't have the hardware ready to entice researchers to join your company and you aren't able to raise capital to cover each H100 unit like $10,000 - $40,000 each (some of these OEM HGX100 models at retail going crazy high, like $300,000 per unit) 🤣 😅 😆 Datacenters can use a lot of electricity and also may use water for cooling...that said if the heat is captured and there is infrastructure to collect waste heat and distribute it, AND the electricity say was from 100% renewable, then can we allocate environmental attribute to the waste heat of AI servers as also low/0 Carbon Intensity heat? 😂 😅 😆 AI Datacenters (powered by 100% renewable electricity) as a service with waste heat as a by-product (thermal is generally harder to decarbonize after all). A sustainable datacenter. 🤣 😂
