The team was thrilled to take part in the American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Walk in 2024 for the first time as VitalPath! 7 teams and 63 walkers from VitalPath joined the efforts to support this worthy cause, raising $15,000, which put us in the top 14 companies for fundraising. Max brings more than 20 years of medical device manufacturing experience from previous roles at Heraeus Medevio and Molex as a global operations leader with a track record of continuous improvement and consistently demonstrating year over year improvements. Max’s breadth of Medical Device manufacturing leadership expertise includes lean and 6 sigma, production planning, scheduling, and floor control. His dedication to meeting vital customers’ expectations is evident in how he inspires his team to provide rapid response and prompt delivery. "We have a strong team here at VitalPath with a lot of passion for improving patient lives through the products we build for our OEM customers. By bringing in some lean principles and best practices, the team has been able to balance the lines, improve product flow, and increase yield, ultimately ensuring we are delivering for our customers on time with a continued focus on quality. Our new Chief Operations Officer is Max Weis who brings more than 20 years of operations experience and expertise in medical device manufacturing, Lean and Six Sigma, production planning, scheduling, and floor control. Previously, he spent more than 10 years at Heraeus Medevio, most recently as US General Manager and Senior VP of Operations. A Six Sigma Black Belt, Max has a bachelor’s degree from Augsburg College and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.

We’re welcoming Scott Larson, our new Chief Engineering Officer, to the VitalPath team. He previously served as VP of Engineering and Program Management at Spectrum Plastics Group. With more than 25 years of medical device industry experience, Scott has also held senior roles in engineering, operations, and R&D at Boston Scientific, Olympus Corp., and TE Connectivity. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.

Join us in welcoming Chris Jones, our new Chief Financial Officer. Chris brings more than 20 years of finance experience, most recently as CFO of Nortech Systems, a global electromechanical engineering and manufacturing partner. His expertise also includes strategy, finance operations, profitability improvement, organization health, change management, and communications. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from University of Missouri-Columbia and an MBA from Boston University.
