To all of my colleagues who are also dads, you may find the webinar below helpful. Hosted by my good friend Sonita Reese, learn helpful strategies for being high-achieving at both home and work. I know many of us (dads and moms) struggle to manage both, sometimes to the detriment of our health, which shouldn’t be. Registration link for this free event is below!
Empower Your Legacy 💪 Self-Leadership for Family Oriented Men 💪 Grow Your Career, Improve Your Health, Build Your Wealth, and Make Lasting Connections
To the GenX Dads out there... First off, I applaud you, especially if you are there and present for your family. I know this first hand because when the after effects of my job sent me to the hospital, I came out with a renewed focus to ensure that I was a Dad. And that couldn't happen if my job was making me so sick that there was a chance I couldn't be around, because being a Dad is all about presence first and foremost. But that doesn't mean that we don't have our own selfish professional ambitions, desires, and things we want to achieve for the sake of happiness. It took me a while to find the right path for me, and while every path is different, I along with my co-host Sonita Reese are here to tell you your path DOES exist. I hope you'll join the two of us for our upcoming free webinar "Do You Need a GenX Rescue" on January 9th at 11 AM US Eastern. Register your place by visiting https://bit.ly/genxrescue, or by scanning the QR code below. We look forward to seeing you there.

At the end of each year I answer the same 10 questions in my journal: 1 - What has made this year unforgettable? 2 - What did you enjoy doing this year? 3 - What were you grateful for this year? 4 - What's your biggest win this year? 5 - What did you read / watch / listen to that made an impact on you this year? 6 - What did you worry about the most and how did it turn out? 7 - What is your biggest regret and why? 8 - What is one thing that has changed about yourself? 9 - What surprised your most about this year? 10 - If you could go back to January 1 what would you tell yourself? I've been doing this for 5 years, looking back A LOT has happened in my life in those years - 2 kids, 3 big moves, company started, pandemic, house purchased, health problems, husband completes grad school, etc etc etc. But my answer to number 10 has always been the same "this year is going to be challenging but you will make it through and be better on the other side just like always, trust yourself". I have a feeling that 2024 is going to come with successes and challenges just like every year but if we remember to trust ourselves and keep going we'll come out on the other side even better. Happy New Year!

It's officially back to work time! Being able to provide a fellow mother with a professional caregiver for their little one to allow them concentrate on being a boss at work is quite literally my purpose on earth, and one that I cherish every day.
