With the inspiration of hosting the #Expo2030 in #Riyadh, increased consumer awareness in #Saudi, and fierce competition racing the deliveries by the minute (15-30 minutes), we expect very exciting times ahead!
This event will revolutionize our logistics sector, offering faster and more efficient orders and shipment deliveries. Imagine ordering online and receiving your items in record time; that's the progress we're discussing. Both local and international shipments will benefit from this efficiency boost.
But, with growth comes challenges. The increase in package volumes could lead to potential congestion and delays. #SaudiArabia is countering this with smart, tech-driven strategies. Investments in #AI, automated systems, and intelligent data analysis are underway to optimize everything from shipments/orders delivery to traffic management; the rest lies in the private sector to invest in the right direction.

With the 2024 deadline for international corporates to move their regional offices to Riyadh (3 weeks from now), we're anticipating an influx of businesses and people, an exchange of expertise, and high expectations in #logistic services. This move aligns with our vision of becoming a regional hub, leveraging experiences from globally recognized logistic leaders.
As we prepare for Expo 2030, it will also pave the way for a successful event and the possibility of hosting the FIFA World Cup in 2034. So, does hosting such events pay back quickly or cover the preparation expenses? Those events are costly and may "only sometimes" cover their preparation expenses directly; however, the long-term financial benefits can be significant. Saudi Arabia's eagerness to host these events is a strategic move. It's about building a legacy and infrastructure that will pay back in the coming years, not just balancing in the short term.
