As a parent of a daughter with a disability who is struggling to find part time employment, I love seeing companies employing people with disabilities. I hope, as companies set targets to employ women and the like, they will include targets for people with disabilities. So important going into the future.

Congratulations Alle, and Virgin Australia. Your success demonstrates the importance of people with disability having good work experience opportunities with a range of businesses. As you've shown, this can lead to employment. Looking forward to seeing you Alle in Melbourne airport, and hope Virgin recruits more of your peers into roles in other airports.

My four month old daughter has Down Syndrome and I really hope she’ll be able to contribute to the workforce like Alle. Well done Virgin on this initiative. It matters so much to those of us raising people with DS

I’m one of those blindly loyal customers who flies Virgin without ever checking competitors’ pricing or schedules. But I’m now also proud to be a Virgin Velocity Gold Member after seeing this.

Well done Alle for seeking out work experience. Through that experience you clearly were able to show your ability to do the job, and do it well. I think more of the focus should be on that, the person. It is easier not to take the steps that she has, and she has shown great courage in doing so and now has been rewarded for her courage and abilities. Alle, hopefully you get to see this too and know that you will also give courage to others to get out and give it a go. Virgin Australia you just made my day, thank you.
