Sometimes, You Might Not Realize Your Own Sparkle. (I often don't) In our daily lives, it's all too easy to fall into the routine of: 1. Just going through the motions 2. Responding on autopilot 3. Aiming for quantity over quality But you might be missing the magical bits: 1. How your presence uplifts others 2. How your actions inspire change 3. How every interaction you have can spread joy Every day, someone reaches out to me with: 1. Echoes of my encouraging words 2. Reflections on my joyful strategies 3. Messages of gratitude and admiration (I receive so much love, I sometimes take it for granted) I really should savor these moments more! So, here’s my invitation to you: 1. Pause. Reflect. 2. Review your interactions. 3. Revisit your shared moments. 4. Recognize the joy you've created. 5. Acknowledge that your vibrancy transforms spaces. 6. Realize that your energy is cherished. 7. Be confident that every effort you make counts. (even if your circle is small) And here’s a little extra: 8. Peek at the smiles you’ve caused. (This probably matters more than anything else) See how others are brighter because of you. Notice the sparkle you spread. I assure you... It’s radiant. 😃 10 ways to be intentional and create space for connection with other humans:   1.   Put the phone completely away during interactions. Signal to that person that you are present and actively listening. ❌ 📱   2.   Observe. Simply take in your surroundings and those around you when waiting in line for coffee (Remember that thing you did before you could bury your head in Instagram or Facebook?) 👀   3.   Ask someone to lunch. You have to eat, right? 🥙   4.   Give someone a compliment, and an authentic one! Not a Regina George style compliment. 💁♀️   5.   Ask your coworker or teammate a question about themselves. Learn something new about their kids, dogs, hobbies, home, etc. 🤯   6.   Do something kind for someone. Bring in coffee, share food, offer help, or hold the door open for someone. ☕   7.   Be vulnerable. Share with others and allow people to see the real you. 🤗   8.   Write someone an encouraging note! Make it known that you took notice to the way they crushed that presentation or closed that new deal. ✉   9.   Make eye contact when engaging. Don’t be in conversation and be looking at your devices. ❌ 👩💻   10. Express gratitude! 🙌
