This synergy can lead to the creation of high-quality, competitive products, fostering increased trade and investment between the two nations. Moreover, by aligning IP regulations and enforcement mechanisms, both countries can ensure a more predictable and secure environment for inventors and investors, encouraging greater participation in joint ventures and collaborative research projects. In addition to economic benefits, an IP cooperation agreement can bolster cultural and educational exchanges. New beginnings, a brighter future. PM Wong delivered his maiden National Day Rally on Sunday evening. Beyond the headline announcements, what stood out to me are the following. First, the courage to relook at longstanding policies and make changes to meet Singapore's needs and circumstances today, and aspirations for the future. Second, a kinder, more caring, and gentler tone, one that is spoken with authenticity and closeness to ordinary Singaporeans. This heralds a fairer, more just and progressive nation, united by a stronger social compact. Third, affirming the fundamentals that have made Singapore successful, including unity, prudence, and being of value to others. It is easy to lead with the mind. It is much harder to lead with the mind and the heart. And PM Wong has made an excellent start to demonstrate the latter. On September 25, ECCK Vice President Bo Sun Kim attended Investment Promotion Advisory Meeting for Seoul. Seoul City announced that Invest Seoul would be officially launched. At this event, foreign chambers and foreign investment companies delivered suggestions to Seoul City to improve investment conditions in Korea. Especially ECCK introduced the annual publication of White Paper, containing recommendations to the government. Also, ECCK emphasized it is important to clarify the payment of incentives for each FDI at an early stage.
