Buildings and infrastructure are responsible for around 40% of global energy-related carbon emissions. As such, decarbonising real assets is a significant priority in the journey to net zero. In this fourth video in our 'Meet the CEOs series, Unigestion's Head of Climate Impact, Joana Castro speaks to Meike Borchers, Global Head of Consulting at EVORA Global, about how the company helps commercial real estate managers and owners measure, track and improve the environmental impact of their assets. #climateimpact #privateequity #esg #netzero

Congrats to my colleagues Laura Draucker and Tyler McCullough for the release of this great new resource on how companies can implement effective Climate Transition Action Plans. This new resource has everything -- clear definitions, actionable takeaways, concrete case studies -- to make the case for climate action. As we get closer to 2030, resources like this will help companies move from disclosure to implementation to achieve the emissions reductions needed to avoid the worst impacts of climate change.
Corporate Climate Action | Sustainable Investment | Equity and Kindness -- Reuters' 10 Future Leaders in Climate 2024
It's out!! My, Laura Draucker, and Ceres, Inc.'s latest report: Blueprint for Implementing a Leading Climate Transition Action Plan (CTAP). This implementation guide includes 45 real-world case studies, a new CTAP Ambition Spectrum tool, and specific recommendations in Six CTAP Action Areas: – Setting goals and targets – Decarbonizing the business – Ensuring a just transition – Advocating for public policy – Supporting integration and accountability – Tracking and reporting progress This implementation guide builds on and compliments strong transition plan disclosure frameworks from the Transition Plan Taskforce (TPT), Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ), CDP, We Mean Business Coalition, Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC), and others. It is meant to equip companies to not only create a robust disclosure but to take near- and medium-term actions in response to climate-related risks and opportunities. Big thanks to Laura Draucker for her technical expertise and leadership as well as to a very long list of Ceres colleagues for their insights and feedback! Finally, a huge thank you to Jennifer DuBuisson, Meaghan Krohn, Sonal Pandya Dalal, FSA, Brian Kramer, Kate Monahan, Andrea Ranger, Eri Yamaguchi, Jenny Ahlen, and Romain Poivet for their expert review as companies, investors, and NGOs doing this work hands on!
