We’re excited to join the European Respiratory Society Annual Meeting alongside the scientific and patient community to share insights about advances in cystic fibrosis. Visit us at Booth C7.02 and learn more about our work: www.vrtx.com/our-science
Great event. I was at your booth last year, asking for information. This year will you be able to disclose any information about EMA review of MAA Extension for Kaftrio to include people with CF and responsive rare mutations ? The application was done in November '23 and, patients, like my son with double N1303K mutation, are still waiting. But CF is not waiting and patients are getting worse and worse, with a drug already available that could really reverse their symptoms. In US is already used since more than a year. Where is #equity in treatments?
Is @EMA doing cuddles to the dossier ?
Exciting times ahead at the European Respiratory Society Annual Meeting! Looking forward to the insights and advancements in cystic fibrosis care. Be sure to visit Booth C7.02 to learn more about the impactful work being done!

Yet again it was wonderful to be part of hosting the British Thoracic Society Winter Meeting. With over 2,300 delegates across three days, and the launch of the 'Breathing Better Together' programme by ITN Business and Respiratory Futures, I'd say it was another roaring success.
How wonderful it is to have the opportunity to network with colleagues and professionals in person. Although video communication is so accessible, sometimes you just can't beat an in person catch up!
If you are interested in watching the Breathing Better Together films, you can do so here: bit.ly/3O7FLyw. Focusing on health inequalities, technologies and the collaboration of the multi-disciplinary respiratory team, these films really do showcase what's working well in respiratory healthcare across the UK. I know we all need some good news!
Through Respiratory Futures I have also facilitated a number of articles this year across respiratory health, which focus on innovation in the sector and implementing guidance in practice. These are available here: tinyurl.com/sdm58b6c
