🎃 According to the National Retail Federation (NRF), Halloween spending is set to break records, with an estimated $12.2 billion in expenditures in 2023, surpassing the previous high of $10.6 billion in 2022. 🌐 Notably, NRF projects that about 32% of Halloween spending will occur online, and an impressive 29% of Gen Z and Millennial consumers are planning to do most of their Halloween shopping through online channels. It seems e-commerce is becoming the preferred haunt for Halloween purchases! 🔍 Early data from Amazon searches also reveals a growing trend, with more consumers initiating their Halloween shopping as early as August. The spooky season is extending its reach! 👻 NRF further predicts that each person will spend an average of $108.24 on Halloween items, showing an 8% growth from last year.
