"We are writing in response to your environmental information request, made ahead of tomorrow’s sunshine notice for the Commission’s May 2024 meeting. To date, our team has worked diligently to meet or exceed every request made by the Commission and will continue to do so. Your decision to issue yet another eleventh hour data request this afternoon based on an unverified claim from a known opponent to the project does nothing but introduce the potential for further delay and encourage further baseless claims that the Commission has historically dispensed with. In any event, attached please find our response to your latest request; we believe it squarely addresses your questions.... the political games being played is affecting peoples livelihood , not that our government cares because keeping citizens dependent on government is a ploy to secure votes , most of us are blue collar men and women that just want to provide for our families . Cameron and that area needs this industry after the devastation they have encountered with recent hurricanes . Stop playing politics with peoples livelihood .

Praying for a positive outcome for CP2. I have lived in Cameron for all of my 62 years and this plant was a GOD send for this town.

Best of luck, it has impacted many jobs and families.

CP2 is being used as a political football by politicians pandering to their base in an election year. It’s really that simple.

might it really be when Shell, BP, and the other EU companies that have been suing Venture because of its breach of contract....and getting no progress....then decided to solicit the FERC and the US Government to intervene and not grant or.... delay it as long as possible....
