🔭 Discovering Tomorrow: The Tech Visionary's Expedition 🔭 In the high-velocity world of technology, staying on the forefront is both our inspiration and our adventure. As tech enthusiasts, we are propelled by an insatiable curiosity for groundbreaking innovations, a hunger to break boundaries, and the exhilaration of predicting the future. Admittedly, this expedition presents its share of intricate challenges: - Maintaining momentum with the astonishing speed of technological leaps often resembles an enduring endurance test. - Traversing the enormous information universe, distinguishing genuine game-changers from fleeting fads, demands wisdom and discernment. - Gauging the costs of innovative devices and solutions against their practical dividends in our personal space or business landscapes is a constant puzzle we strive to crack. - Ironing out issues of compatibility, privacy, and ethical matters infuses our pursuit with additional layers of complexity. Nevertheless, these issues don't dampen our spirits; they encourage us to investigate, adapt, and progress. They echo the fact that the essence of technology isn't just about innovation, but also represents the indomitable human resilience to triumph, to link, and to prosper. To my fellow technologists: How do you steer through these exciting challenges? Which recent innovation has sparked your enthusiasm, and how are you incorporating it into your current life or work frameworks? Let's exchange our experiences and continually motivate each other. After all, in the ever-evolving tech terrain, we're all scholars, visionaries, and catalysts. #TechVisionaries #RevolutionizingIdeas #AdaptivePerspective #TechInnovations #UnceasingLearning

Working with tech-startups is somehow similar to Ocean exploration. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to meet with innovators and founders every day, to discover mind-blowing solutions to some of our socity´s greatest challenges - and potentially propel their speed ahead! Often the founders are young and fearless, like myself back in the early days of Blueye Robotics. They have the energy, guts and courage to give what it takes to realize their ambitions, and together with my team in #DanskeGrowth, we strive to match their needs with our solutions, targeting startups and scaleups on their growth journey. Tomorrow I will meet with students from NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences at the CRE8 Conference, together with Johan Brand and Ole Fredrik Norbye. Visiting NMBU, where I graduated back in 2015 (besides making me a tiny bit nostalgic) always gives me the sense of catching a glimpse of the future, and at the same time being reminded that there is only so little that we actually know about it. ..which takes me back to where this post started: innovation is like ocean exploration. We don't know what the solutions to our challenges will look like - just like we don't know more than a tiny corner of our Oceans - and we will never know unless we support the ones who innovate. The true explorers of our time! (Below is a video of one young founder with deep curiosity and high hopes) #Ocean #Exploration #Innovation #Future Danske Bank

I've spent most of my life at the intersection where people and technology meet. There's very little I get more excited about than watching people interact with the systems I've built. When I deploy an app or site, I like to spend days watching real time usage of it. I go through report after report, building visualizations of the data. Then I start attempting to improve adoption by fractions of a percentage. I become obsessed with the user. I'll fight to change a library or component if it's even causing less than 1% of people to have any outcome I don't intend. It can drive my colleagues a little crazy even though our goal is the same. I believe his comes from studying psychology and electrical engineering in school. Even though I had a teacher tell me it would be unlikely that I would excel in both because of the difference in left and right brain focus between the two, it felt like the only way to do it. When I would tell people the focus of my studies a lot of them would look at me in confusion. "How do you you land on those two things?" "How do you apply psychology to electrical engineering?" To me it was simple. I wanted to design systems that people used so I had to better understand the system and also the person using it. I believe that focus has put me on a path to being a great product leader. Watching this fifteen second video makes me smile because I really appreciate the fact that it's a very simple deployment of technology with an impressive human response. This is what I try to do with every page, every interaction, and everything in-between when I'm building. The best engineering feels like magic, and I hold on to that phrase throughout my processes. #productleaders #softwaredesign #UX #UI
