Go to other industry's conferences and network there. APha and ASHP midyear were always out of reach for me. I'd have the desire to attend. The cost to attend plus travel and lodging not to mention PTO I'd have to use when some companies already give so little to be frank wasn't worth it for me personally. Go to a local one day symposium, or a weekend conference in your area that isn't pharmacy related. See what other people are doing in their fields, be inspired, get curious. Mix it up. Shake it up. Get out of your routine. Do something different.
