A big shout-out to our teams for their energy during the Sustainability Days at SOMFY Group ! 🙌 These days were a beacon of action, showcasing our environmental commitment through tangible, collaborative efforts. Workshops, brainstorming sessions, and hands-on actions: all spearheaded by our dedicated collaborators for a greener future. And as we embraced this year's theme, we also paused to celebrate a unique milestone – the 20th anniversary of the FONDATION SOMFY. Over two decades, the Foundation has been a formidable force, rallying 3000 unique employees to engage in meaningful work and organizing an impressive 3,124 days of solidarity actions and 200 associations supported. This is the heartbeat of a company where purpose leads and employees are empowered to contribute to the greater good. Thank you for your active participation. We are proud to share an update on our sustainability performance with today’s global celebration of Earth Day, and highlight the progress we have made towards our ambitious Better Places targets! ENVIRONMENTAL TRANSITION - In 2023 we reduced our Scopes 1 & 2 carbon emissions by -81% compared to -71% in 2022, on track to meet our target of -90% by 2030. We have also reduced our energy intensity by -30%, compared to -14% in 2022, advancing towards our target of -50% by 2030. We have also increased our ability to generate installed renewable energy at our assets to 23.8 MWp. SUSTAINABLE EXPERIENCE - In the last year we have applied our Sustainable Retail Index to our Fashion retailers, covering 57% of our eligible revenues, and this year we are expanding its application to the Health & Beauty sector. In 2023, we launched the Westfield Good Festival, and this Spring will expand the event to all Westfield destinations in Europe and the US. And, with all of this activity, we are also rolling out our Better Places Certification to our first set of 10 assets in 2024! THRIVING COMMUNITIES - Our URW for Jobs initiative helped 2,600 people to find jobs, contributing to our broader target of supporting 15,000 people annually through training, social inclusion and employment opportunities.
