We are thrilled to announce that Professor George Yeoh has been funded for another year by Conquer Cystic Fibrosis , for his groundbreaking project titled "Establishing the utility of GCTM-5 as a biomarker for liver pathology in cystic fibrosis patients" This innovative research aims to develop a new blood test to detect early liver disease in CF patients, potentially transforming the way we diagnose and treat liver complications in those affected by cystic fibrosis. The project will include liver biopsy samples from across Australia and will significantly improve the ability to identify and manage liver disease before it advances too far. This one-year project aims to make a substantial impact on the lives of CF patients, offering hope for early intervention and better health outcomes.
