So grateful to have Tammarrian Rogers (pictured, right) speak to Upstarters last week, in an event hosted by our African American Employee Network employee resource group. The former Director of Inclusive Engineering at Snap Inc., 20-year veteran at Microsoft, and World’s Top 50 Women in Tech recipient from Forbes emphasized the importance of bringing our authentic selves to work and how that's the first step in becoming a more confident and creative contributor to our teams. She also encouraged us to embrace mistakes and the learning that comes with them, set clear goals and work hard to meet them, and give as much to our mentors as we're getting from them. We left inspired and ready to take on the next challenge! Hats off to Assistant General Counsel Shavaugn I. Lewis (pictured, left) for drawing the best out of Tammarrian.
