With November being Lung Cancer Awareness Month, it’s important to remember the importance of lung screening in early detection and later prognosis. Research shows that only 5-6% of patients eligible for lung screening are screened. Grassroots and community efforts to raise awareness on this are important to increase these numbers - both to inform patients that lung screening is available and how it can help them. #lungcancer #lungcancerawarenessmonth #lungscreening
