The Center for Connected Medicine at UPMC released their 8th annual “Top of Mind for Top Health Systems” survey. This survey collects insights from senior leaders at health systems, acting as a barometer for priorities and concerns regarding digital innovation.      For the second year in a row, AI has been highlighted as the most exciting and improved technology by surveyed leaders.       Survey findings:   85% of respondents identified AI as the most exciting technology.    Generative AI is particularly valued for its applications in clinical documentation and routine tasks.   Telehealth and virtual care technologies have also shown significant progress since COVID-19.    📥 Download the survey for more detailed insights from leadership. https://lnkd.in/eUfmRjyE

The annual Family Fun Night at the Butler Farm Show grounds was a real success yesterday and brought families and community leaders together for an evening of fun for everyone. A special thanks to Marci Mustello (R-PA) and the Butler County Chamber of Commerce who co-hosted the event and engaged with multiple vendors including UPMC Health Plan. The UPMC Health Plan van was front and center with information and free giveaways for kids and their families, while offering the opportunity for show attendees to climb aboard for free health screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, and bone density testing.

UPMC Health Plan congratulates the 11 students who recently graduated from our Freedom House Foundations training program – our second cohort in Erie and 17th graduating class! Through our trauma-informed, supportive program, these students have taken an important step toward a career that both meets local health care workforce needs and provides the graduates with a meaningful career ladder to additional job training and job growth opportunities. Henry Ford once said: "Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success."   We are indeed fortunate to have successful partnerships with many elected officials in our community. Our thanks to Rep. Dan Deasy and Rep. Aerion Abney for allowing us to partner with them on their July 24 license plate replacement event to bring the UPMC Mobile Health Unit to the Sheraden community. Our team provided free health evaluations, blood pressure and cholesterol screenings, and offered blood glucose and bone density testing. They also fielded health care questions from the many attendees. We also appreciate the other partners in the event - Magistrate Nick Martini and the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police for all they did to make the event so successful for the Sheraden community.
