We all have that manager we’ll never forget — for better or worse Our relationship with our manager has a bigger impact on our mental health and wellbeing than that of our therapists, and even as much as our partners But most managers get little or no training. They're accidental bosses promoted based on technical skill rather than their ability to lead people So we hit the streets of London and New York to hear your stories — the good ones, the bad ones, and everything in between

Three cheers to you Unmind for capturing what's really happening at the relationships level in work spaces in an authentic, creative way. I have lots of clients who are unfortunately taking home the stress of the day and 'wearing it' from the moment they catch the bus home to when their head hits the pillow at night. This is robbing them of participating fully in their family life including kids who need the one thing that has the biggest impact on their wellbeing - which is time with their parents 🙂
Actually it’s both! Great (and not so great) leaders are both born and made (which means they can also be trained). Which also makes us all leaders (of ourselves)! How crazy is that?!
What a shame that most companies just sweep it under the rug when confronted with it! In the words of a previous civilian employer , it might be bad management but its not bullying and harassment! They may have been right but they still didnt deal with the bad manager or his sycophants so i left and that was the best decision ive ever made in civvy st
This is great, plus a bonus Nico Simko appearance!! Great work Izzy Daffern and team, love the concept.
