Marine Iguanas are a true example of how nature evolves to its environment. These iguanas are the only iguanas that can swim and eats marine plants and algae. The biggest issue however is that the oceans water chemistry is changing at a rapid rate due to climate change and the life under the water cannot adapt quick enough to survive these changes. “Clever girl”…Remember in Jurassic Park when the game warden sees a velociraptor emerge from the jungle? Great scene. When I was thrashing through thick undergrowth on a mini adventure this week, I was reminded of that moment. Firstly, I love stories and imagination…and dinosaurs, so on this misty morning it was easy to imagine a T-Rex round the corner. 🦖 Secondly, I had lost the hound. She has a habit of rolling in mud, fox poo or worse; then creeping up on me and covering me in slobber and paw prints. 🐾🐕 I glanced from left to right, listening for the breaking of branches, struggling to see into the undergrowth, my heart racing knowing there was no time to change muddy clothes before the school run, when: Splat. The hound was on me, she had crept out from the foggy forest before I could dodge. “Clever girl”. I work with successful, busy people regarding big questions, challenges and goals. Important, sometimes serious stuff. But one of the things I encourage my clients to do, is think where they can add stories and adventure into their life. If we can’t be a fully grown adult, pretending there is a dinosaur around the corner, how can we allow ourselves to dream of a different, exciting career path?
