Some time ago I wrote a chapter on the importance of the questions we ask in architectural design processes. In the context of inclusivity and universal design, questions can help uncover hidden biases in architecture and help align expectations. Some decisions are almost instantaneous, coming directly from the gut. When I got the call from Queralt Garriga, Francesc Camps Palou, Cris Marcos & Andrea Palomino de la Fuente I didn't give it a second thought. There was no way I was going to miss the opportunity to be part of the curatorial team of the first architecture museum in Spain: La Casa de la Arquitectura. How to connect the three elements: the museum itself, the website and the catalogued architectural works all over Spain, into a coherent narrative? How to engage a non-specialized public with the importance of architecture? How to reach out to young architects who are generally so demoralized and undervalued these days? And lastly, is it possible to build a leading site capable of transmitting the transformative power of architecture? In exactly one month from now, my book Nelson Goodman and Modern Architecture: A Belated Encounter, will be published by Routledge. I had the chance to spend some time listening and learning from the amazing #JuhaniPallasmaa , when we had him over at an event about architecture in movies at the Cinemateket in #Bergen, #Norway more than a decade ago. Captivating person and extremely pleasant to talk to and hear from. A learning experience in itself. Bellow is an article that poitns towards some of charecterictics of his architecture, and mainly at the human touch in it. In a more #AIgenerated and mainly visual designed environment, it is even more important to point towards the #feelings generated by an architectural space. The interdisciplinary dialogue between architecture and social sciences is thus vital in understanding our built environments, their past, present and futures. This talk delves into understanding the symbiotic relationship between the disciplines of architecture and social sciences, exploring how architectural theory and practice intersect with social science methodologies. It emphasizes on the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to spatial explorations to provide a more cohesive and deeper understanding of communities and culture.

With sciences R&D developments increasingly migrating to amenitized urban areas, more and more opportunities for architectural innovation are being uncovered.
