The AfDB ,our Bank captured my views during the AfDB annual meetings in May 2024, Nairobi. We need to fix poverty not only in #kenya but entire #africa. Let's encourage #development while protecting our #environment for intra and intergenerational equity. We also need proper economic valuation of our natural resources which boosts our ratings and should be considered a strength! not to forget our cheap and readily available labor market from our youths and the young people. Our rich ecosystems sink alot of carbon emissions to counter #climatechange effects. Our country ,Kenya is peaceful and we are at an information era whereby there's more need for accountability and transparency, just like in any good #leadership and #governance! #sustainability #agenda2063 We need customized solutions ..by Africa. ..of Africa...for Africa.. You may listen and like!

Navigating the cultural and political landscapes in South Africa has been a transformative journey. Understanding the rich history, diverse cultures, and the intricate political landscape has been fundamental in building sustainable and impactful projects. We've taken the time to engage with local communities, listen to their stories, and appreciate their perspectives. By listening, understanding, and respecting the local context, we can drive meaningful social and economic development. Lessons learned were invaluable, and we were very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with the Province of the Eastern Cape, meet the Premier, and President. Moving forward, we remain committed to building strong relationships, fostering community, and respecting the leadership and decisions that guide us on this journey. #SouthAfrica #CulturalLandscape #PoliticalLandscape #RichHistory #DiverseCultures #LocalCommunities #SocialDevelopment #EconomicDevelopment #RacePolitics #GenderPolitics United Nations UN World Food Programme WFP Strombo WWF South Africa FAO
