“We can’t build a future for our grandchildren with a system for our grandparents.” – UN Secretary-General António Guterres says this September’s Summit of the Future will chart a path for more effective international cooperation to solve today’s challenges and safeguard #OurCommonFuture. https://bit.ly/SotF2024
A strong statement. A statement that resonates with anyone working on improving established system in any sector; may it be education, housing, agriculture, transportation, you name it. Slow and mismatched transition hinders growth, or worse, endangers lives. #OurCommonFuture must revolve around evolving and creating opportunities. Either it be research, asset developing, or even menial assessment. All must lead to opening up new doors of tomorrow, where we take charge of the change, instead of waiting and only response.
Yes! Especially when it comes to food processing methods and carcinogen synthesis in temperatures above 100C! Please see the videos I did in the links about nutrition dangers that even many nutrition specialists and restaurants are not aware of. Most of the food that is processed above 100°C can contain carcinogens and neurotoxins. Fructose in 100% fresh juices in larger amounts than half a glass taken regularly a day can cause artificial hunger and health problems : https://www.linkedin.com/posts/activity-7201130499753361408-TIgc?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhQCRBhxeA4 https://www.linkedin.com/posts/activity-7203054235070959616-bM8o?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop https://www.linkedin.com/posts/activity-7203045378395410433-7kqX?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop https://www.linkedin.com/posts/activity-7202220455183675392-r3Ad?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop https://www.linkedin.com/posts/activity-7212351371411410945-9cCG?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop If the global food supply chain could apply it to the policy of feeding children at schools and people at workplaces properly. The world would be healthier and less hungry.
United Nations This quote by UN Secretary-General António Guterres emphasizes the urgent need for collective action and cooperation to build a sustainable future for generations to come. By acknowledging that our decisions today will impact the world our grandchildren inherit, we are reminded of the importance of working together to address the pressing challenges we face and create a better world for all.
I think no need to be concerned for the future of our grandchildren, if each generation fulfills its duty properly in accordance with the spirit of the times. The solution to all kinds of evil in the world depends on a similar situation I believe; If everyone cleans the door of their own hearts (such as cleaning the front of their own house), then there will be no dirt/evil anyway.
Agreed! Here at The Irenaut we are seeking to carve out this path through essays, stories, poems, and interviews, all in the theme of the "irenic force". We have just published our Summer issue, focusing on the ethics of conscription, and featuring an exclusive interview with Nobel Peace Prize nominee David Swanson - check us out!
United Nations, António Guterres Sir's powerful words remind us that the challenges of today cannot be tackled with yesterday's solutions. As we prepare for the Summit of the Future, it's clear that international cooperation must evolve to safeguard #ourcommonfuture. This isn't just about policies; it's about ensuring a world where our grandchildren thrive. Let's chart a new path, one that embraces innovation, equity, and sustainability. Together, we can build a future that honors our past but isn't bound by it—a future where global challenges are met with collective determination and compassion. Joining hands, we can create a world that is not just secure but also inspiring for generations to come.
I completely agree with the UN Secretary-General's statement. In order to create a better future for our grandchildren, we need to adapt and improve our current systems. I am excited to see what solutions and strategies will be discussed at the Summit of the Future. #OurCommonFuture

3moNo that's not true. We lost nearly allanalog cultural technics for expensive digital overdosage. We have to be more careful for the things necessary and social life. Love to have a smartphone, but it is not the same feelings like gardening or being in a social group, staying together. Since I was born the whole world changed. And it has become worse. No one was pushed away for greed. My work has been paid. Responsibility instead of can't even name it! Makeup and big booties and.. met the other ones today. The ones who saves lives in their spare time. So thankful for that! I were at the place I spend a lot of time in my youth swimming, dancing, riding bicycle, first kisses. It is going down there since some companies have closed. Where is all the German money going to? Into drugs? Don't hope so! We have to do new elections, soon!
