The job creation potential of renewables highlights the urgency of accelerating the transition to clean energy, not only to mitigate climate change but also to drive sustainable economic development.
Same would happen in transition to Vegan economy. All those currently employed by animal exploitation industries would eventually secure a job at animal and environment healing industries.

3moTo be fair to the comparisons, it is not as binary as it sounds. The resulting energy might be cleaner, but the mining of resources to house the electricity needed for this change is definitely not; worse, they will be creating new mining sites, adding more environmental damage to those already created by existing fossil fuel, without providing solutions to properly mitigate ecological impacts after the mine's end of life. Despite the technological surge in mineral applications, the mining technologies have not changed as quickly so this is not a simple binary choice as surrounding communities will lose their natural environments for the foreseeable future once mining operations begin, most of which are in the area of the world the Western community are quick to demand environmental protection for, when it suits their political agenda. Now, when renewables are the key Western interest, all the propaganda is about adoption; for countries that actually own these mines, they should not forget the leverage they have and how they can wield it to suit their people's development and not the whims of the insatiable Western capitalism ...
