Exciting News! Our latest research on non-terrestrial networks (NTNs) has been published! In this paper, we address the system-level design of a multi-layer airborne backhaul network, utilizing high-altitude platform stations (HAPSs) and rotary-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to establish free space optical (FSO) backhaul links with ground base stations. Successful Test Flight of the ZD680 Drone and Deployment of CANSAT Satellite with Parachute!!! During this flight, we demonstrated the drone's capability to carry and deploy a CANSAT satellite as a payload. From a height of 70 to 80 meters, we released the satellite, which was attached to a parachute. Upon release, the parachute deployed perfectly, allowing the satellite to descend slowly and safely to the ground. This marks a significant milestone for aerial payload deployment and recovery. The precision and stability offered by the ZD680 with ArduPilot platform open up numerous possibilities for future applications, including remote sensing, environmental monitoring, and lightweight cargo delivery. As we continue to refine and expand the capabilities of our drone systems, I look forward to exploring innovative solutions in aerospace and UAV technologies that will further enhance industrial and research operations. 🚁 Excited to Share My Latest Drone Project! 🚁 I recently completed a project using the Radiolink Crossflight flight controller, incorporating GPS and three flight modes: Normal Mode, Position Hold Mode, and Return-to-Launch (RTL). This project has been an incredible journey, combining technical challenges with a passion for UAV technology. When flying a drone, observing the following aspects can help ensure a safe and effective flight: 1. Flight Stability: Achieving smooth and controlled flight. 2. Responsive Control: Ensuring the drone reacts accurately to inputs. 3. Battery Performance: Monitoring power levels for safe flight duration. 4. Flight Modes: Utilizing different modes for various flying conditions. 5. Signal Strength: Maintaining strong communication with the controller. 6. Environmental Conditions: Adapting to weather and surroundings. 7. Return-to-Home Feature: Safe return in case of signal loss or low battery. 8. Landing Performance: Smooth and controlled landings.
