Lumina will select potential grantees to submit full grant proposals based on their ability to demonstrate a clear outline for proposed projects to increase college opportunities for all students. The Great Admissions Redesign will accept applications from: * State agencies and quasi-public organizations; * State systems of higher education that include public bachelor’s-granting universities or colleges, and; * Groups of three or more public or private nonprofit institutions that include at least one public or private bachelor’s-granting institution. List: 23 people blocked from federal financial aid system (insidehighered.com) College administrators and university employees convicted of fraud are among the 23 people currently barred from participating in federal financial aid programs, according to a new public list from the Education Department. Department officials said in an online notice that the agency will update the list quarterly as part of an effort to deter misconduct, ensure program accountability and protect students and taxpayers. The department has taken several steps in the last few years to hold individuals personally accountable if their institution fails to operate in a financially responsible way. Twenty people connected with public, private nonprofit and for-profit colleges and universities are either suspended or debarred—a more permanent prohibition that can last up to three years or longer, depending on the circumstances—along with three others who aren’t affiliated with an institution.

Students Served: The CIS WA network provided direct support to 107,854 students, out of which 6,204 received individualized supports through our dedicated Site Coordinators.    2. Attendance: 78% of the students either met or showed progress towards achieving their attendance goals.    3. Behavior/Social Emotional: A remarkable 91% of participants not only met but also made progress on both their behavior and social-emotional goals.    4. Coursework: A total of 85% of individuals attained or made progress towards their designated coursework goals.    5. Graduation Stats: 80% of seniors are on track to graduate or complete their GED, while 90% of younger students stay in school, setting them up for future success.    6.
