🚀 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠! 🚀 Hello LinkedIn Community! I’m excited to share an important update on my 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐊𝐌𝐏 𝐚𝐩𝐩: https://lnkd.in/dP6ZQwEi I’ve recently integrated both Unit and UI tests into the project, bringing several key benefits to the development process. 🔍 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: 𝟏. 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: Automated tests ensure that your code behaves as expected, reducing the likelihood of bugs and issues slipping through. By running tests automatically, I can quickly identify and address any problems, maintaining high reliability across all platforms (Android, iOS, and desktop). 𝟐. 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: Writing automated tests allows me to test the shared module extensively without duplicating effort. Since the shared module holds significant logic and functionality, I can write less code to test multiple platforms, streamlining the testing process and focusing on what's essential. 𝟑. 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬: Automated tests speed up the development cycle by providing instant feedback. This means faster iterations, quicker bug fixes, and a more efficient development workflow, allowing me to deliver high-quality updates more rapidly. 𝟒. 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: Tests drive better design and help ensure that new features or changes do not introduce regressions. This approach supports cleaner code and encourages best practices in both development and testing. 𝟓. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐔𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: With UI tests, I can ensure that the app provides a consistent and smooth user experience across different platforms, catching UI-related issues early in the development process. 📬 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞 For more details of the project, you can walk through the related previous post over there: https://lnkd.in/e9qSPwCQ Check out the updated project and see how automated tests have enhanced the Organize app: https://lnkd.in/dP6ZQwEi 𝐋𝐞𝐭'𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭 I’m excited about the improved reliability and efficiency that automated testing brings to this project. Feel free to connect if you have any questions about testing in Kotlin Multiplatform or want to discuss best practices! #KotlinMultiplatform #AutomatedTesting #UnitTests #UITests #MobileDevelopment #CrossPlatform #KMP #OrganizeApp #QualityAssurance
