Exciting News! PERCVD, our groundbreaking business model solution, is now available to brands across the UK and Europe. We’re inviting brands to collaborate and test PERCVD, which uses a plasma coating technology to extend the lifespan of clothing by adding functionalities like water repellency and easy stain removal. This is particularly crucial as new EU legislation aims to reduce the disposal of repairable clothing. How can PERCVD change your business? If you are in the resale, rental, or repair sectors, this is how we can help your brand: Resale: PERCVD enhances pre-loved garments with added functionalities, such as water repellency and hygiene, giving them a new lease on life for a fresh owner. Rental: PERCVD’s Easy Stain Release (ESR) functionality makes stain removal effortless with gentle cleaning, helping to keep garments in rental circulation longer by addressing stains – one of the main reasons clothing can no longer be rented and has to be disposed. Recharge: PERCVD revitalizes your clothing by restoring water repellency functionality (DWR) which can be maintained through top-ups, extending the life of items like jackets and outdoor wear. Learn more about the impact PERCVD could have on your business brand by reading https://lnkd.in/g-u69GQz Or message us to start the conversation about exploring a new level of sustainable business unlocks. #Sustainablesolutions #waterfree #waterrepellency #plasma #textilesolutions

An increasing focal point in the fashion industry currently is fabric waste management. At SC Studio, we put in a lot of sustainability efforts to manage our waste. In the retail industry, a lot of businesses are realising the importance of personalized strategies to address this pressing issue. From reevaluating sourcing practices to implementing innovative recycling ideas, a lot of brands are finding ways to minimize waste throughout the production process or reusing it. We at SC studio, try to minimize our waste with simple techniques like: > Using the leftover fabric as the inner lining of our suits or coats. > Crafting men's accessories like pocket squares from fine-quality fabric. > Customising suit pockets with fabric waste. On an individual level, the fabric that is not possible to use for any of these activities related to the brand is donated from my end to NGOs or other organizations. Most of my daily wear garments are cotton or linen-based and are sustainable. Embracing practices like clothing repair, alteration, and donation, further extending the lifespan of clothing, diverting items from landfills, and contributing to a circular economy is my strong belief that is also reflected in my brand culture. Ultimately, fabric waste management requires a collective effort that encompasses both industry-wide initiatives and individual actions. Businesses and consumers can create a fashion ecosystem that values environmental stewardship and social responsibility by working together to implement sustainable practices. #WasteManagement #SustainableStudio #Sustainability #SCStudio

With the development of science and technology, more and more pollution appears all over the earth, and the same is true in the clothing industry. However, thanks to the development of science and technology, more and more environmentally friendly materials appear in the clothing industry. As an outdoor brand, Monton regards environmental protection as an important strategy for sustainable operations. Currently, we have taken the following actions 1、Introduced 3 fully recyclable yarn fabrics 2、Using recycle packaging and hanging tags, 3、Use Eco-friendly inks in the printing machine 4、Reduce unnecessary waste in the production process (follow the 7S principle) We will not stop here. In the future, we will use more eco-friendly trims and purchase more recycled fabrics. We respect these brands very much. Sustainable development will bring more expenses to the company, but in the long run, it will provide the earth with a better environment. #cycling #sportswear #cyclinglifestyle #sustainability #ecofriendly #environmentalsustainability

In our most recent blog post our CEO and Founder, Adam Root, explains how the textiles industry has the opportunity to be part of the solution for microfibre capture. With the rise of fast fashion and the design of clothes for short term use, the contrast to the reuse and repair model from pastimes is stark. Here at Matter, we’re aware that brands are facing several challenges in overcoming their contribution to microplastic pollution, so we are working together with them to face this problem. We have tools for change, we just need to use them, together. Read the full blog here: https://lnkd.in/egyRx9pT

Retail Tech | COO @ artisans Commerce Cloud | On a mission to help multichannel retailers achieve Operational Excellence
I've been thinking a lot about something recently, especially after reading Siddhesh's post about their fabric brand's commitment to reducing waste. You know, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by all the big environmental issues out there. But then I realized, maybe there's something we can all do, right now, in our everyday lives. It's as simple as speaking up. Seriously. Think about it. When we always ask businesses for discounts, they start offering them. Same way, when asked for better service repeatedly, they put their focus on that side too. Guess what, if we all start asking for things like #sustainability and eco-friendliness, businesses are going to have to listen. It's just the way it works. So, let's be #MindfulConsumers. Let's support the brands that are doing their part for the planet. Every purchase we make is like casting a vote for the kind of world we want to live in. Remember what Gandhi said: "Be the change you wish to see in the world." We have more power than we think. Let's use it to make a difference. #SpeakUpForSustainability #SmallActionsBigImpact #EveryPurchaseCounts #PhilosophicalFriday Ref - https://lnkd.in/dkhMKi8v
