What if you cut some events? You’ll potentially increase your net profit percent in that budget year, but will cutting those events have other repercussions? In a word, yes.  The metric we’ve used to measure events is single year net revenue. Our event staff live and die on, “Did I meet net revenue goal?”  Net annual revenue. Nothing else matters. Or does it?  Steve Merker, VP Corporate & Community Partnerships at The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, is responsible for engaging thousands of volunteer supporters through Canada's most successful and diverse set of events, including the Ride to Conquer Cancer, Walk to Conquer Cancer, Journey to Conquer Cancer, Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer, Northern Pass to Conquer Cancer, and many more. Steve co-founded Ride to Conquer Cancer, which has raised $280 million since inception. He says, “The value of events is beyond this year’s money.” Join us on December 12 at 1PM Eastern Time (USA and Canada) to find out why cutting your event budget could have a devastatingly negative long-term impact.  Register here: https://lnkd.in/ejrT8c-8 #TurnkeyWebinar #nonprofitleadership #fundraising
