It is very difficult for people to excel in personal and professional life without understanding the significance of power dynamics. Its one of the basic pillars on which a person starts his journey in this world. And the seeds of understanding are sowed early by his parents, guardians & teachers who (assuming they have taken enough efforts to raise the child) make him understand how important it is to respect experience and wisdom. Thereafter, the social setup of school, college and neighbourhood allows him to learn and unlearn the phenomenon of power dynamics when he interacts with seniors, peers and juniors. But the real test comes when he starts making his living on the job, in his business and in relationships. That's where his years of conscious and subconscious learnings make him a winner or loser. Interestingly, it's never too late to start afresh. Its just a matter of realisation and one is fit to resume his journey towards a successful and meaningful life. Those taking such dynamics lightly or completely turning a blind eye keep on suffering right through out their lives. One has to understand that he will be on different spectrums of power dynamics in life (follower-mentee-fellow-partner-coworker-collaborator-leader-mentor-coach-detached) and each stage will redefine his journey of life. #powerdynamics #accept #choices
