We’re dedicated to providing world-class orthopedic care and to training the next generation of orthopedic professionals. For the second year in a row, TRIA Orthopedics welcomed three fellows as part of the Kevin Wilk Traveling Fellowship program. The fellowship provides sports physical therapists the unique opportunity to learn from nationally recognized leaders in the field, visiting three clinical sites over a week and a half. Fellows Dustin Baldwin from New Jersey, Brian Ishola from Minnesota, and Ryan Tedrick from Ohio participated in a program that focused on specific areas of injury rehabilitation, including soccer, performing arts and concussions. They also conducted a hockey movement assessment and toured the Minnesota Wild training facility. Our own Brian Theisen, PT, DPT, ATC, and Terri Chmielewski, PT, PhD, SCS, served as co-mentors for the prestigious program, which is sponsored by the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy.
