Anyone can suffer from mental health, there is no shame in it. Those that are suffering can be very clever at hiding it, they don’t feel they want people knowing their personal business, their true emotions. They may not understand why they feel the way they do, there may be no specific reason why they get so low. With depression you can be laughing one minute and crying the next for no reason. It is very hard to spot someone with mental health problems which is why it is important to ask, to really ask. Take some time to really see if they’re ok. Imagine a Ferrero Rocher chocolate. The outer layer is quite unique and that’s what you may love about it. However underneath that, there is another layer, very different to the outer layer, it’s sweeter and maybe this could be your favourite layer. Then beneath that is a totally different layer again, the centre, the core. Isn’t this layer what makes a Ferrero Rocher so unique? But you can’t see that inner layer from the outside. There could be anything in that centre that you cannot see from the outside but most people just see ‘a chocolate’ and not a collection of different layers. The only way you can get to the centre is to get passed those outer layers. Don’t just see the chocolate today, take time to look for the layers Well done Norwich City. OTBC
