It’s FLOP Friday! Today, Sarah Egan Warren focuses us on the importance of playing with variables. Don’t just keep doing the same thing over & over if you’re not getting the results you want. You’ll just end up with a bad habit. Instead - experiment and reflect. Try something different and then pause to see if it worked. An iterative approach to learning. This is one of our Flop-osophy strategies that we shared with the IAA students. We can’t wait to see how their projects develop.
Happy FLOP FRIDAY! Flow Circus, Inc. grouped the practicum teams together to practice and play with variables for different outcomes. Our practicum teams at the Institute for Advanced Analytics kicked off their projects this week. It is going to be a great year of learning and results!

Most people relate to the subject of structure like it is things in a certain order, or sorting everything in to different boxes. Boxes has nothing to do with it. Structure gives rise to patterns and behavior not the other way around. When we have ice on the sidewalk here in Sweden everyone change their behavior, they walk slower and spread their legs to keep their balance. It doesn’t matter if they think in a particular way at this moment, everyone do the same thing. The underlying structure gives rise to this particular behavior. Whiteout ice different behavior. Structure is dimensional not linear. Instead of 1, 2, 3, 4………….it’s 2, 9, 74, 11, 3………….. If you’re in a lousy structure it doesn’t matter how hard you work. You will never end up where you want to be. On the other hand, if you build a structure that supports you aspirations the prediction is that you will get what you want. If you become good at skating you take advantage of the underlying structure. The Living Art course is created by Robert Fritz. The bestselling author of the book “The Path of Least Resistance”.
